Developing the mindful nurse practitioner

چکیده

Reflection is an important skill for nurses. Building on these reflective skills, mindfulness offers opportunities personal development by increasing nurses’ awareness of sensory experiences, other people and their environment. Mindfulness also element self-care. This increased can contribute to the nurse’s ability make skills-based healthcare decisions act in ‘present moment’. The authors argue that qualities are essential developing future nursing workforce, particularly given stressful challenges faced profession, example work pressures at times crisis such as COVID-19 pandemic. article discusses evidence for, benefits of, offering programmes during nurse education wider profession.
